Lazlo

We've done it! We've finally found a name! Our name is Lazlo! I'm not going to tell you what it means, or where it came from. If you think you have an idea, then you're probabaly right. If you have no clue, then don't worry about it. It's just a stinkin' name anyways. As far as I can tell, there is only one band with a name similar to ours (named after the same character), but they're somewhere in New England, so I'm not real worried about it.

We're based out of Lake County, Indiana, but we hope to be able to travel a little and play out to some remote venues. Particularly, I'd like to play out in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The local music scene is so much stronger out there! So you wanna know what we sound like? Good question. I don't think I can say, with certianty, what our sound is, because we're still lacking a member. Our sound is sort of a blend of each person in the band, and I'm sure that as soon as we find a steady vocalist, our sound will be slighly colored by the addition. Right now, we're leaning a bit toward a blues rock kinda sound. That seems to be our strongest groove. I guess, overall, we play all kinds of rock music, from southern rock, to heavy metal, to blues rock, to 80's ballads, ect... Anything loud with some attitude!

We're currently working on writing some original material. Things are really starting to click into place, and were coming up with fresh material like it was water running out of a tap. You don't question where it's coming from. You just try to capture as much of it as you can, and put it to good use! We're working on developing a good 3 hour set of music containing about 25% covers and 75% original muisic. We only have one slight problem... We're still seeking a good vocalist - preferably someone who can write their own lyrics. (Songs always seem to have so much more power when they're sung by the guy who wrote the lyrics) So, if you know anyone that would be interested, or are interested yourself, feel free to contact me at dave@isomtech.com.
